A native of St. Louis, MO, Chris accredits his love for music and performance to his family legacy. He got his start in his Father's home church and quickly grew into an accomplished musician, producer and performer. He owes his mother for playing the bass guitar. One day he was watching TV at the young age of nine and his mother said " Boy get that bass out the closet and tell your daddy to teach you how to play" As reluctant as he was to do it, he obeyed his mother and the rest is history.
Chris Black has emerged as one of the entertainment industry’s most influential people to watch. He is a husband, father, musician, author, speaker, and producer. Mr. Black has been blessed to tour, perform with artist such as entertainment heavyweights like Regina Belle, Les McCann, Glen Jones, Najee, Lil' Wayne, The O‘Jays, Patti Labelle, Shirley Caesar, Beyoncé, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Kelly Price and many more.
Chris Black has traveled the world for more than 20 years and throughout his travels Mr. Black has experienced a diversity of cultures and thus gained an abundance of knowledge and insight that sowed into his dream. He endeavors to create a positive atmosphere that will challenge you to evoke change.
In 2002, Chris Black Suddenly lost mobility in his arms and legs. The diagnosis? Multiple Sclerosis: a disease for which there is no cure. Chris a highly regarded musician who has performed and toured with many artists was faced with the end of his career and his purpose in life.
But Chris refused to give in. He believed in healing and in beating the odds. He knew he would have to change everything from the inside out: his mind, his body, his spirituality, and his emotional well being. He did not allow his circumstances to dictate his outcome.
With this approach, Chris regained 100% of his abilities and was able to resume his career as a musician, entertainer, and entrepreneur. But Chris did more than get his life back, he found his new purpose: to share his experiences with and help as many people as possible.
